We reported earlier today that HTC is rolling out the Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the HTC One X in India. Now HTC has announced that they have also started rolling out the Android 4.2.2 update for theOne X+ for the Indian users. The HTC Butterfly got the Android 4.2.2 update starting from Taiwan back in July and the Indian users got the update earlier this month. The HTC One X+ got the update in Taiwanlast month. The latest Jelly Bean update for these devices bring Sense 5, BlinkFeed , Video Highlights slide show function for the camera, AE/AF enhancements in the camera, Battery percentage in the status bar, Quick settings and lots more.
The official Android 4.2.2 is available as an OTA update (v2.18.707.5) and the size is 408.79 MB. Various features that comes in the update are
- HTC BlinkFeed Integration
- New lockscreen style – Widget style from Android 4.2.2
- Option to show battery percentage in status bar
- Sleep mode option in Power Settings notification
- Quick settings panel with 12 toggles
- AE/AF lock
- Video Highlights
- Music Channel
You can go to Settings > About > Software Updates > Check now to check for the updates, if you have not received it yet.
