Axis Bank has launched new Axis Mobile app

Axis Bank has launched new Axis Mobile app for Android and iPhone, in partnership with Tagit, a leading Singapore mobile solutions company. With the launch launch for new apps, it aims to reach out to 15 lakh customers through new delivery channels. The app offers personalization depending on the user segment ( Youth , Premium & Prime segments) and comes with social media Integration that pulls images from Facebook / Twitter or option to upload photos for beneficiaries. It lets you access savings as well as credit card accounts, manage transactions, pay bill, transfer funds and more.

Axis Mobile recorded a 10 fold increase in the last 12 months, the fastest increase among all technology channels in the same period, says the company. It has also seen increase in the usage of Mobile App from 2% to 10% in last 2 years with an average frequency of 3 logins per month, it adds. It expects the transactions to rise in future. The updated app would be available for Blackberry, Symbian, J2ME, Windows and tablet-based platforms.

Dish TV has launched  DishOnline, an online application for Android exclusively for DISH TV subscribers. Once you login with your Dish TV account, you can watch over 35 live TV Channels, Videos on demand and a wide range of Bollywood and Hollywood movies. This app works both on  internet-enabled Android smartphones and tablets. The app works on two devices with a single account. The app has been optimised for 3G and Wi-Fi Networks, says Dish TV.

This is the first time a DTH company is releasing a Live TV and streaming app for Android that doesn’t require a separate login or subscription fee. In addition to live TV and movies, you can also watch shows and soaps that you have missed. The app also offers a program guide.
