Insert the Mac OS X Disc

Insert the Mac OS X installation DVD or the first installation CD. Mac OS X 10.0 through 10.4 are available on multiple CDs, while Mac OS X 10.4 and later are available only on DVD. If booted into Mac OS X, double-click the "Install Mac OS X" icon on your desktop to launch the installer. If your computer is off, press and hold the "C" key after booting the computer to force it to start from the installation disc.

Install the Operating System

Select the drive to which your current version of Mac OS X is installed. This completes an in-place upgrade of Mac OS X.

Advanced Installation Options

Click "Options" at the "Select a Destination" window to select an advanced installation option. "Install Mac OS X" installs the operating system on a drive that does not have Mac OS X installed. "Archive and Install" saves existing system files but otherwise erases your current OS X installation. "Erase and Install" clears the entire contents of the disk before installing an Apple operating system. Click "Continue" to install Mac OS X.

How To Create Apple ID On iPhone, iPad, iPod touch

1. Tap Settings, and then tap iTunes & App Stores.
   • (If an Apple ID is already signed in, tap the Apple ID name, and then tap Sign Out.) 
   • Tap Create New Apple ID.

2) Choose a country or region for the store that will match the billing address for your payment method, then tapNext.

3)Agree to the Terms and Conditions by tapping the Agree.

4) Tap Agree again when the confirmation appears

5) Enter an email address, password, and choose three security questions and provide answers to them, and then tap Next.

6) Enter your billing information and then tap Next.

7) You will now see a screen that says Verify Your Account. Tap Done.

8) Now check your email for a verification email from Apple. Open the email, and tap the Verify Now link enclosed in the email to activate your account.

9) Sign in with your current Apple ID and password, then click Verify Address.
