Samsung Galaxy Trend Duos went on sale in India recently, now another dual SIM phone in Galaxy series, Samsung Galaxy Star Pro (GT-S7262) is now available in India from online retailerHomeShop18. It has a  4.0-inch WVGA(480×800) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1GHz single-core Cortex A5 processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

It comes with a 2-megapixel rear camera,  2G (EDGE) support and has Dual SIM support with Smart Dual SIM feature that enables the user to receive calls on one SIM number while taking a call from the other, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Star (GT-S5282) that was launched in India back in May.

The Samsung Galaxy Star Pro comes in White color and is priced at Rs. 6,989. The phone has not been listed on the Samsung India website or the Samsung eStore yet.

Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom feature and specification

Just taking the photo won't do these days - you'll want to edit and share it, then rake in the likes. Except most cameras pretty much bail out at the snapshot. Not the Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom though, a hybrid of a point-and-shoot with 10x optical zoom and a Galaxy S4 mini. This is Samsung's second such attempt after the Galaxy Camera, which was based on the Galaxy S III.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom has full telephony features (unlike the Camera), but it's not the most comfortable phone around. Photography is the full-time job here.

A 10x zoom lens with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) sits in front of a 16MP sensor. At the wide end, the lens is the very wide 24mm in 35mm equivalent, the aperture goes from f/3.1 to f/6.3 and there's a mechanical shutter. The Galaxy S4 zoom has a control ring around the lens like some high-end point-and-shoots do, a xenon flash and LED light.

That's just the camera specs, the rest is a full-featured Galaxy S4 mini hardware, including the IR blaster, which can control a projector (the one, most likely, you'd use to show off your photos).

There are some differences between the Galaxy S4 zoom and the mini but, outside the size, those are insignificant. The chipset is powerful enough to shoot 1080p video at 30fps and 720p at 60fps (same as the Galaxy Camera). Samsung has made sure too that the default camera app is the most advanced we've seen yet, and there are a number of helpful image and video editors among other tools.

With Android 4.2 you'd be able to install other editors and camera apps too (though these will have to add support for the optical zoom feature). Not to mention all the social networking and other tools for sharing your photos, which can be piped through blazing fast LTE or Wi-Fi, DLNA, MHL or Group Play.

Pre-Requisite

• Download Latest Drivers needed, if they’re not installed, install them right now. In addition, arrange data cable also to enable connectivity of phone and computer.

• Make sure that Galaxy Y’s battery is charged 70% before starting the process or flashing the ROM.

• We recommend to Uninstall Samsung Kies, to eliminate the possible conflict while flashing the firmware of your phone, also remember that you need to restart your PC after uninstall of Kies Software.

• Disable all the Firewall or Antivirus Software in your computer, to run  the process smoothly.

• You should Backup all the data, including SMS, Data, Call Logs, Contacts, APN and MMS Settings, and everything else. Becuase this process will wipe all data including ROM of your phone. You should transfer songs or videos to microSD card.

• Enable USB Debugging Mode at path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB      debugging”.  Remember to disconnect the phone from computer to successfully enabling the USB debugging mode.

• ClockworkMod recovery should be installed, to flash the ROM. Otherwise, we have summed up the instructions to install ClockworkMod Recovery in Samsung Galaxy Y below, if you haven’t already installed.

Assuming that we should proceed to instructions of installing ICS look like ICS AURA V1 Custom ROM.

How to Install Android 4.0 Inspired ICS AURA V1 in Samsung Galaxy Y Phone

Step 1: If you have installed CWM recovery in your phone already, then you can skip to Step 2. Other’s please follow this step, as this is mandatory.:

• Download ClockworkMod Recovery, and copy it to root of phone’s SD card.

• Turn off  your phone, and put it into recovery mode by pressing and holding the Volume Up button+Home Button+Power button.

• In recovery, select the option ‘Update from SD card’, and browse and select the file CWM recovery file. This will start CWM recovery installation process.

• Go back and restart your phone. This will install CWM recovery on your Samsung Galaxy Y.

Step 2: Now, you need to download ICS Aura v1 zip file. Download Link and save it to your computer.

Step 3: Connect your Samsung Galaxy Y phone to your computer.

Step 4: Ensure that phone is connected properly with USB cable, then Transfer the file downloaded in Step 1 to the root of your SD card.

Step 5: Switch off the phone and then Boot into the CWM recovery mode. To boot into the CWM recovery mode, you will need to press Volume up+Home+Power keys simultaneously.

Step 6: Backup the ROM for safeguard, with ‘Backup & Restore’ option, remember that you won’t need to Wipe Data or Cache to install this ROM.

Step 7: Now, you can simply select the option ‘Install zip from SD card’, then browse and select the ICS AURA zip file (From Step 1). This will start installation.

Step 8: The installation would be completed in 1-2 minutes. After that, phone will need to reboot. After phone is restarted, you will see ICS Like interface your Galaxy Y Phone. (Please check the screenshots.) Kindly note, when your phone would boot for first time, it can take some time.

How to unroot Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus GT-I9105

Step 1: Enable USB debugging option on your tablet by going to “Setting” > “Applications” > “Development” > check on the box there to enable “USB Debugging”.

Step 2: Turn off the phone and boot into Download Mode by pressing and holding “Volume Down”, “Home Button” and “Power Button”. Release them when the screen is on.

Step 3: Now on your PC, run Odin then connect your phone to PC. Odin will detect your device. If it fails, uninstall Samsung USB driver then reinstall it.

Step 4: Now on Odin, do as the following:

• Click on PDA button then browse to where you locate the update file to point to firmware file.
• On Odin, make sure that Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time options are checked.
• On Odin uncheck Repartition box if it is checked.
• Click on Start button. Odin will flash the root package to your device.
